Susan Poikonen, 72, Tipler, Wis., died Monday April 21, 2008, at her home. She was born May 1, 1935, in Superior, Wis., daughter of the late James and Luverne (Lambert) Hoey. She married Marvin Poikonen. He survives. Susan enjoyed her ATV and was a member of the local ATV club. She loved flower gardening, the great outdoors, and watching wildlife. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Poikonen, Tipler; one daughter, Mandi Poikonen (Richard) Emmerick, Kenosha, Wis., one son, Todd Poikonen, Tipler; three grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Cody Eli Feest, Clancy Lu Emmerick, and one great-grandchild, Cade Feest.
