Susan Rae Grailer, 71, of Kingsford, Mich. passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford. She was born on September 15, 1942, in Crystal Falls, Mich. daughter of the late Ray & Helen (Fincannon) Johnson. Susan married Jerry "Dimps" Grailer on August 15, 1959, in Kingsford, he preceded her in death on December 8, 2005. She worked as a passenger dispatcher for her husband for 20 years, accompanying him in his semi-truck travelling all over the country as he made his deliveries. Susan enjoyed crafting, was an accomplished seamstress and will be missed by her many friends and loving family. She is survived by three sons, Jerry Grailer, Aurora, Wisc., Randy Grailer, Iron Mountain, Mich, & Bobby Grailer, Kingsford; one daughter, Cathy Babb, Iron Mountain; one sister, Elsi Crucianalli, Kensoha, Wisc.; one brother, Hank Johnson, West Ellis, Wisc.; three sisters- in-law, Teresa (Pete) Rossato, Shirley Grailer and Ursula Grailer, all of Kingsford; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents and loving husband, Susan was preceded in death by her father & mother in law, Louis & Verna Grailer; one brother, Art Johnson; four brothers-in-law, William Grailer, Albert (Pooch) Grailer, Edward Grailer and Don Cucianalli. Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Funeral Services will be Friday 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be in Breitung Township Cemetery, Quinnesec, Mich.
