Susan (Rehm) Hietala Gordon Cohen, 65, of Dunbar, Wis., passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born April 28, 1944, in Lake Charles, La., daughter of the late Robert Rehm and Lois (Stott) Vierkandt. Susan grew up in Wheaton, Ill. She married Tracy Cohen in 1966. He preceded her in death in 1970. Susan lived in Minneapolis, Minn., until 1999, when she moved to Dunbar, Wis. Susan enjoyed music, reading, arts and crafts, and especially spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by two sons, Alan Hietala, Bloomington, Minn., Ronald (Patti) Cohen, Dunbar; two daughters, Tamara Dotson, Minneapolis, Michelle Cohen, Menominee, Mich.; stepfather, Richard Vierkandt, Maple Grove, Minn.; two brothers, Robert (Cathy) Rehm, Stephenson, Mich., Brent (Merry) Rehm, East Bethel, Minn.; a sister, Jackie Willprecht, Mounds View, Minn.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Besides her parents and husbands, Tracy and Gene, Susan was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Rehm, and signficant other, Jeff Gordon.
