Susan (Padalino) Bardsley, 54, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at her home in Iron Mountain.
She was born October 6, 1952, in Chicago, Ill. beloved daughter of Charles and Melba (Hoppenrath) Padalino.
Susan grew up and was raised in Chicago and moved to Iron Mountain in 1988. While in Iron Mountain she was employed for a few years at the Iron Mountain Senior Center, where she enjoyed visiting with the people. She had been attending St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Susan enjoyed sewing and especially time spent with her family.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Padalino, Iron Mountain, Neal Bardsley and Anthony Bardsley, both of Kingsford, Mich.; her mother, Melba Padalino, Mokena, Ill.; four brothers, Martin (Sharon) Padalino, Chicago, Joseph (Joann) Padalino, Frankfort, Ill., Charles (Suzanne) Padalino, Orland Park, Ill., Vincent Padalino, Green Bay, Wis.; three sisters, Carolyn Stutts, New Lenox, Ill., Anita (Donald) Raddatz, Minooka, Ill., Michele (Thomas) Staszak, Mokena, Ill.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Charles Padalino.
Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A memorial service will be held, 1:30 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Fr. Dan Zaloga will officiate.
