Susan E. Anderson, 90, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home in Niagara.
She was born August 20, 1916, in Niagara, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Brown) Antonissen. Susan grew up in Niagara and attended Niagara School. She married Hildon Anderson, he preceded her in death.
At the age of 25, she moved to Lansing, Ill. where she attended school for welding. She welded for the US Navy during World War II. Susan later worked for Lever Brothers, which was located in a suburb of Chicago, Ill. She moved back to Niagara in 2000. Susan enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, knitting, ceramics, gardening, the outdoors, and assisting her husband trapping animals.
Susan is survived by two brothers, Henry (Jane) Antonissen, Niagara, Arthur (Patricia) Antonissen, Woodbury, Minn.; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Hildon, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Theodore, Joseph, Fred, Francis; three sisters, Jennie Richardson, Julia Brown, and Orpha Baka.
Visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2007, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, at Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel. The funeral service will be 11:00AM, at the funeral home. Deacon Bradley Lemke will officiate.
Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Ind.
