Steven A. Pierce, 55, of Pembine, Wis., passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at his home.
He was born January 18, 1957, in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., son of Claude and Marian (Smith) Pierce. Steven grew up in the Mt. Pleasant area and lived in Lewiston, Mich. for 13 years before moving to Pembine. He married the former Pamla Worth on March 5, 1987, in Mt. Pleasant.
Steven was a Cub Scout leader for 3 years and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and truck driving, which he did since high school.
He is survived by his wife, Pamla; two sons, Robby (Beth) Koons, Lewiston, Mich., Jonathan (fiancé Emilie LeTourneau) Pierce, Pembine; his parents, Claude and Marian Pierce, Blanchard, Mich.; two brothers, Noland and Randy Pierce; three sisters, Marinda Fox, Becky Kimball and Cheryl PoPard; two granddaughters, Gabby and Chloe; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and close friends, Brad and Judy Hines.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the Northwoods Chapel, Pembine. Revs. Fred Barribeau and Clark Lindsey will be officiating. An additional memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Winn Sportsman Club in Winn, Mich.
