Crystal Falls- Silvio Joseph Parochelli Jr. (Silvio Jr) peacefully made his transition on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Iron County Medical Center, Crystal Falls, Mich.

He was born on July 7, 1941, in Chicago, Ill., son of Silvio and Mayme (Cousineau) Parochelli. He was raised in Crystal Falls until he graduated high school and entered the United States Army.

After serving in the Army, Silvio worked with his uncles in Chicago doing masonry work until he married, had children, and moved to Lansing, Mich. where he became a taxi driver. After retiring, Silvio did what he loved most. He went fishing almost every day until he could no longer, watched baseball, and drank coffee.

Silvio was preceded in death by his parents, Silvio and Mayme of Crystal Falls.

He is survived by his sons, Don Louis and John Charles; daughters, Monique Thea and Angela Parochelli; granddaughter, Chelsea Shugerman; and many loving cousins.

In accordance with Silvio's wishes, private family services were held.
