Niagara:
Shirley M. Pilon, age 63, of Niagara, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2004, at University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Shirley was born April 23, 1941, in Norway, Michigan, the daughter of the late Louis and Emma (Fregetto) Nora. She attended school in Norway. On October 26, 1968, she married Raymond Pilon at St. Anthony's Church in Niagara. They made their home in Niagara since that time. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church and St. Anthony's Council of Catholic Women. She had many hobbies including quilting, crafting, flower gardening, and fishing with her family.
She is survived by her husband Raymond, two daughters Tracy (Dave) Mommaerts of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Mindy Pilon at home in Niagara, a granddaughter Hannah, (the light of Shirley's life) and a very special friend Judy Nelson of Loretto, Michigan.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Robert in 1969, and a brother James Nora.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 15, 2004 from 8:30 – 11:00a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Niagara. The St. Anthony's Council of Catholic Women will conduct a memorial service at the church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00a.m. at the church. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery.
