Shelly A. Johnson, 43, of Florence, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Unity Hospice, DePere, Wis. Shelly was born September 18, 1967 in New London, Wis., daughter of Roger (Lois) Kitzman, of Pulaski, Wis., and the late Angeline (Hass) Kitzman. She grew up and attended school in Pulaski. Shelly married John Johnson on September 23, 1995 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Florence. She and her family have made Florence their home. Shelly was a substitute lunch lady and custodian at Florence Elementary School for three years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, biking, being outdoors, arts and crafts and holiday decorating. Shelly lived life to the fullest, she could be elbow deep in potting soil and still made sure her lip gloss was fresh. She never turned down a good time and always had fun. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Johnnie; one son Matthew Johnson, Florence; three daughters, Jamie (Steve) Malone, Green Bay, Bailey and Olivia Johnson, Florence; her parents Roger (Lois) Kitzman, Pulaski; one brother Paul (Becki) Kitzman, Salt Lake City, Utah,; three sisters, Sandie (Jamie) Ranck, Pulaski, Stacy Huxford, Canon City Colo., Sara Kitzman, Green Bay; one grandson, Vincent Malone, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at St. Mary Catholic Church in Florence. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday 12:00 noon at the church.
