Obituary

Crystal Falls - Sheila Hotvedt, 82, of Iron River, Mich., passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau Wis. She was born on December 25, 1937, in Iron River. Daughter of the late Henry and Gladys (Olsen) Delinski. She graduated from Harvey H Lowrey High School in 1955. Sheila obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Wayne State University in 1985. Sheila married Robert Hotvedt and had three children. She later moved back to Iron River and was part owner of Century 21. After Sheila obtained her college degree, she was first employed by Family's First in Detroit, Mich. Later, to assist with her aging father, she moved back to Iron River and was employed at Iron County Medicare Facility, the Caring House, and Northpointe. Sheila loved to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoyed animals and was a volunteer at the Animal Shelter in Iron River. Sheila played the piano, had a flair for design and a great sense of humor. She was drawn to the outdoors and water. Sheila is survived by her son, Keith (Dawn) of Woodhaven; daughter, Judith (Michael) Hemeleski of Iron River; daughter, Amie (Jim) Tefft of Appleton; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Sheila was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys (Olsen) Delinski; father, Henry Delinski; brother, Rick Delinski; granddaughter, Alexandra Hemeleski.
