Sharon A. Ronan, 74, of Goodman, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain. She was born on May 5, 1938, in Goodman, daughter of the late Arnold and Dorothy (Jacobson) Kitzman. At age 3, Sharon moved with her family to Chicago where she grew up and attended school. Sharon married Charles Ronan in 1956, in Chicago. After being married, they resided in Montgomery, Ala., Rantoul, Ill., as well as many other places as she traveled extensively with her husband Charles while he served in the United States Air Force. In 1994, they moved back to Goodman. She was a good homemaker and enjoyed watching television and spending time with family and friends. Sharon is survived by her husband, Charles; one son, Larry (Sue) Ronan, Newport News, Va.; two daughters, Patricia and Linda Ronan, both of Goodman; four grandchildren, David (Katie) Ronan, Jonathan Ronan, Nicole (Mathew) Dressler, Christine Ronan; two great-grandchildren, Alana and Melody. Private family graveside services will be held. Burial will be held in Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman.
