Sharon Ann Ghere, 78, of Florence, Wis., passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, at Florence Health Services, Florence, Wis.

Sharon was born in Des Plaines, Ill., on July 31, 1944, daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Manteuffel) Hunsaker. Sharon spent most of her early childhood in Des Plaines, and graduated from West High School in 1963. She worked in the mail room at Dewalt, where she met her future husband, Arthur Ghere. After Arthur and Sharon were married, they made their way to Florence, Wis., where she became the head chef for Florence Villa Nursing Home.

Sharon had a passion for making jewelry, sequence art kits, or anything that involved beads. She was a kind and giving person and will be missed by all that knew her. Sharon leaves behind and will be remembered by her many good friends; and one sister-in-law, Florence Martinson.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ghere, who passed away in 1997.

In accordance with Sharon's wishes, private services will take place.
