Niagara – Selma Sothern, 96, of Niagara, Wisc., passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Marshfield Clinic Health System – Dickinson, Iron Mountain, Mich.

Selma was born on October 16, 1925, in Newark, NJ, to the late Irving and Esther (Reiter) Silber.

Selma was extremely patriotic and very proud that she was a real-life "Rosie the Riveter" during World War II.

She is survived by her daughter, Florence Ekstrand (Keith); grandchildren, Taylor Ekstrand and Madison Ekstrand; and her brother, Herb Silber.
