Scott B. Curran, 46, of Felch, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012, as a result of a traffic accident in Felch.
He was born on August 12, 1966, in Iron Mountain, to Dan Curran and Dianne (Michaud) Cattelan.
Scott grew up in Kingsford, graduating from Kingsford High School, class of 1985. He was employed by Louisana Pacific for the past three years and was the Assistant Fire Chief for the Felch Volunteer Fire Department. Scott was a great person, friend and neighbor. He lived life daily with exuberance and wanted to experience everything. To know him was to love him.
Survivors include, his mother, Dianne (Ramon) Cattelan, Norway; father, Dan (Mimi) Curran, Brunswick, Ga.; maternal grandfather, William Michaud, Kingsford; fiancé, Marcie Lucas, Felch; one brother, Dr. Ryan (Kristen) Curran, Marquette; two sisters, Shannon (Joe) Johnston, Niagara, Wis., Summer (Travis) Curran, Brunswick; one step-brother, Fred Cattelan, Ironwood, and one step-sister, Rachel McDonald, S.C. Scott is furthered survived by Marcie's parents, Diane S. Parolini, Vulcan, Clark Lucas, Jr., Felch; several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. David Winkowitsch will officiate. The family will receive guests following the memorial service at the Felch Community Center, Felch.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established with the family, in Scott's name.
