Iron Mountain: Sandra A. Visintainer, 59, of Iron Mountain, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2006, at Hyland Nursing Home in Iron Mountain. She was born November 26, 1946, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Lionel and Margaret (Vassar) Lauzon. She married Rodney Visintainer November 27, 1964. Sandra was a lifelong resident of the area. She was employed by Dickinson Inn, Grede Foundry, ManorCare, and was a loving and devoted Caregiver for those in her care. She enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts, wood working, cooking, baking and spending time with family and grandchildren. Survivors include three sons Scott (Deana) Visintainer, Kingsford, Shane (Julie) Visintainer, Iron Mountain, and Shawn Visintainer of Kingsford; two brothers Lionel (Carol) Lauzon, Iron Mountain, and Leon Lauzon, Beloit, Wis.; a sister Beverly (Tom) Dasko, Crivitz, Wis.; four grandchildren Cassie, Holden, Brett, Colin; a very special friend Nancy Bouche; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a brother Wayne. Visitation will be Thursday, January 12, 2006, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Breitung Township Cemetery in Quinnesec, Michigan.
