Sandra Ann Tuomela, 39, of Vulcan Mich., passed away Friday, January 22, 2010, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain. She was born August 4, 1970, in Grand Rapids, Mich., daughter of John Tuomela and Barbara Hutchings. Sandra Ann grew up in Grand Rapids, and graduated from Lowell High Scool, Class of 1988. She made her home in the Upper Peninsula 12 years ago. Sandra Ann was a big fan of Nascar and football. She also loved hopping on the back of her dad's Harley and riding the country side. Most of all, Sandy loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephew, and dearly loved her three dogs. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her parents, Barbara Hutchings and John Tuomela; one, sister Dorothy Ramos; three brothers, Allan Tolle, Timothy Tolle, Larrie Tuomela; four nieces, Meija Ann Tuomela, Lindsey Marie Tuomela, Kristen Louise Tolle, Jillian Rose Ramos; one nephew, Samuel Javier Ramos; and one special aunt, Betty White. Sandra Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents, Larrie and Eva Tuomela; and one aunt, Sandra Tuomela.
