Sally Joy Perkins, 76, of Kingsford, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Evergreen Assisted Living.
She was born March 24, 1937, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Wilford and Veronica (Paul) Allard. Sally graduated from Iron Mountain High School, Class of 1954. She married Bob Perkins, December 29, 1963.
Sally was employed at Frankini Jewelers, was a licensed Real Estate Agent for Turnerland, and in 1969 she partnered with her husband at Perkin's Surveying. She spent many happy hours at their summer home in Bayfield, Wis. She was a devout Catholic and a devotee of the Carmelite Monastery of the Holy Cross. Sally was a former member of Beta Sigma Nu Sorority and the Chippewa Club.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Bob Perkins; one niece, Mary Muchka; one nephew, Robert Trepp, both of Ariz.; several aunts and cousins and her dear friends and loving caregivers in the Evergreen Apartments Memory Unit.
In accordance with Sally's wishes private family services will be held.
