Sadie M. Parson, 96, of Crystal Falls, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008, at Iron County Community Hospital, Iron River. She was born April 7, 1912, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (James) Ponchaud. Sadie married Don Marinoff on October 2, 1937, he preceded her in death on April 1, 1968. She then married Elmer Parson, on September 3, 1971, he preceded her in death on July 15, 2002. Sadie worked at the Iron County Medical Care Facility as a Nurse's Aid. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and Christ United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Frank Marinoff, Ralph (Gail) Marinoff, both of Crystal Falls; two daughters, Donna Havens, Sheboygan, Wis., Arletta (John) Raikko, Munising; four sisters, Myrtle (Eugene) McGregor, Charlotte Bosko, Loretta Nunn, all of Crystal Falls, Liz (George) Ryder, Florida; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Sadie was preceded in death by two sons, James Marinoff, Norman Marinoff; five brothers, Earl, David, William, Edward, Hubert; and three sisters, Agnes Hulko, Frances Baratono, Thurza Ponchaud.
