Ruth V. Cermak, 84, of Iron River, Mich., passed away Friday, May 13, 2011, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born on March 25, 1927, in Amasa, Mich., daughter of the late Jack and Fanny (Saario) Koski. Ruth worked at Benjamin Moore Paints in Northlake, Ill., for 35 years, retiring in 1998, and returned to Iron River at that time. She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Cermak-Durante, Candice Cermak-Holt, both of Addison, Ill.; and two grandchildren, James and Marcie. Private family services were held.
