Rudolph R. Hulko, age 85, of Sagola, died, Thursday, January 18, 2006 at Dickinson Community Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain. He was born November 28, 1920 in Crystal Falls, son of the late Isaac and Sophia (Halkko) Hulko. On November 14, 1953 in Crystal Falls he married Agnes Ponchaud. She preceded him in death on January 1, 1996. Rudy had been a wood cutter and logger prior to working in the Fortune Lake and Hanna Mines for many years until his retirement. Survivors include one sister, Amelia Suheski, Crystal Falls; his special friends and care-givers, Bob and Margaret Johnson, and sister-in-law Charlotte Bosko; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Agnes Hulko, four brothers, Samuel F. Hulko,Karllos E. Hulko, Arthur Hulko, Hjalmer J. Hulko; four sisters, Lydia, Marian, Alexandria and Hilja. Visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Grace Presbyterian Church, Sagola. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Rev. David Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
