Roy C. Johnson, age 94, of Crystal Falls, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. He was born January 19, 1913, in Crystal Falls, son of the late Anton and Alice Johnson. Roy had been a blacksmith and worked in the camps of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Survivors include nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Private family funeral services will be held at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. Rev. Michael Laakko will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls. The Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls, is serving the family.
