Rosemary (Kallenbach) Gagne, 79, of Iron Mountain, formerly of Niagara, Wis., passed away Monday, February 23, 2009, at ManorCare Health Services, Kingsford.
She was born January 28, 1930, in Menominee, Mich., daughter of the late Timothy and Katherine (Otradevc) McTrusty. Rosemary grew up in Amberg, Wis., graduating from Amberg High School, she never missed a class reunion. Rosemary married Elton "Stormy" Kallenbach on July 4, 1947. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Rosemary married Frank Gagne, he preceded her in death in 2005. She lived in Niagara and raised her family there until moving to Iron Mountain in 2006. Rosemary had a zest for life, she loved spending time with family and friends and brought joy to all who knew her. She was very much a people person and was often referred to as a "social butterfly." Rosemary enjoyed square dancing, camping, bingo, and was an avid Packer fan.
She is survived by two sons, Alvin (Karen) Kallenbach, Kingsford, Jack (Kathy) Kallenbach, Niagara; three daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" (Dennis) Senatori, Kingsford, Cindy (Ron) Combs, Garland, Tex., Julie (John) Estes, West Bend, Wis.; one brother, Tim (Lela) McTrusty, Amberg; one sister, Katie Sawyer, Hales Corners, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Starr, Tammy, Mike, Zachery, Ben, Victoria, Kelly, Tyler; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack McTrusty, Louis McTrusty; two sisters, Evelyn Catardi, Dorothy Randall; and one grandchild, Alex Estes.

Visitation will be Friday, February 27, 2009, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm at Evangelical Covenant Church, Norway, Mich. The memorial service will be 1:00 pm Friday at the church. Rev. James Danielson will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
