Rosemary "Rose" Annear, 80, of Iron Mountain, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Freeman Nursing Home, Kingsford.
She was born October 10, 1927, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of the late Anton and Barbara (Jerhoff) Wagner. She married Earl Annear on April 19, 1947, in Detroit, Mich. They lived in Vermont and Detroit before moving to Kingsford in 1964, where they have lived since.
Rose was an avid record album collector, collecting jazz, classical and a variety of other music over the years. She enjoyed viewing paintings and works of art, reading and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Earl; three sons, Neil (Carol) Annear, Breitung Twsp., Mich., Earl Annear, Iron Mountain, Keith (Cindy) Annear, Quinnesec, Mich.; two daughters, Susan (David) Sundholm, Felch, Mich., Diane Burrell, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jacob Kegler, Andy Kegler, Raymond Wagner; two sisters, Katherine Nichols and Ruth Daleen.
