Crystal Falls- Rose M. Otto, 90, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital, Iron River, Mich. She was born May 3, 1929, in Alpha, Mich., daughter of the late Michael and Frances Kochinski. Rose grew up in Alpha and was a graduate of Alpha High School, class of 1947. On June 10, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, she was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Otto. Rose worked as a graphic artist for a printing company. She enjoyed working at camp, and especially spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Robert "Bob" Otto Sr.; two sons, Robert J. (Audrey A.) Otto Jr., and Roger L. (Kirsten J.) Otto; two daughters, Roxanne M. Paschke and Robin L. (Keith) Danko; one brother, John Kochinski, North Carolina; and by one sister, Barbara Jean, Crystal Falls, Mich. In addition to parents, Rose was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, Michael and Ben Kochinski; three sisters, Helen Ozaga, Mary Bahlo, and Margaret Turcotte; one grandchild, Neil D. Paschke; and two great-grandchildren, Cynthia M. Otto and Robert J. Otto IV. In accordance with Rose's wishes, family services will be held in the spring.
