Rose Angeline Horvath, 81, of Kingsford, Mich., formerly of Racine, Wis., went to be with the Lord Monday, August 17, 2009.
Rose was born March 5, 1928, in Racine, daughter of the late Alphonse and Angeline (Anzalone) Costabile. Rose was a resident of Racine for most of her life. Rose graduated from William Horlick High School, Racine. Rose retired from Wisconsin Small Motors, Racine, after working there for many years.
Rose married James Horvath, Sr. on September 20, 1947, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Racine. Rose was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed every minute caring for her family.
Rose is survived by her loving husband, Jim; son, Jim, Jr. (Pat) Horvath, Spread Eagle, Wis.; daughter, Janet Horvath, Racine; four grandchildren, Rocky (Kelly) Horvath, Kenosha, Wis., Ryan, Sammy, and Rhianna Hatton, Racine; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Markie Peroutka, Kenosha; four sisters-in-law, Betty Costabile, Ann Novak, Shirley Horvath, all of Racine, Rose Christensen, Arizona; many special nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Costabile, and a sister, Dorothy Smiley.
