Rose S. Flashberger, 72, of Iron Mountain, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013, at her home.
She was born August 14, 1940 in Milwaukee, Wis., daughter of the late Henry and Rose (Kazmierski) Kasper.
Rose grew up in Oak Creek, Wis. and graduated from South Milwaukee High School. She married Ronald Flashberger, he preceded her in death in 2005. They resided in Franklin, Wis. for many years before moving to Iron Mountain in 2005. Rose attended St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church, Iron Mountain. In her younger years, she enjoyed competitive horseback riding, crocheting and knitting and was a good seamstress.
Rose would like to thank Donna Christy for her care and support. Also, Manor Care Health Services, OSF St. Francis Hospice, Dr. Beth Schroeder and staff.
Rose is survived by several sisters, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many special friends, including Eleanor, Mary Ann, Debbie, and Amanda.
Private family services were held.
