Obituary

Crystal Falls- Ronald Joseph Wloszczynski, age 89, of Crystal Falls, MI., passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026

He was born June 26, 1937, in Milwaukee, WI., son of the late Emil and Nina (Calearo) Wloszczynski. Ron grew up in Tipler, WI., and was a graduate of Florence High School, class of 1955. After graduation, he served in the United States Air Force as a Russian translator and was stationed in Japan. While on leave from the service, he was united in marriage to Patricia Nau on December 28, 1957, at the Maple Grove Ranch in Florence, WI.

Ron and Patricia lived in San Antonio, Texas, for a short period before moving to Green Bay. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science. Ron began his career with Social Security in Milwaukee, WI, and was promoted multiple times throughout the Midwest region. He concluded his career living in Mundelein, IL, and retired in 1989 as Deputy Regional Commissioner. He and Patricia moved to Fortune Lake in 1990.

Ron loved the Northwoods. He enjoyed logging with his brothers, carpentry, woodworking, boating, snowmobiling, skiing, and motorcycling. He loved spending time at his homestead where he built a family cabin in Tipler, WI. He always needed to stay busy. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Wloszczynski; son, Gregory (Rhonda) Wloszczynski, Searcy, Arkansas; one daughter, Sheryl (Greg) Josefchuk, Catawba, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Brad (Carey), Scott (Kristin), Matthew, Bryan (Jessica), and Philp; four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey, David, and Joshua; three brothers, Bob Wloszczynski, Crystal Falls, MI., Patrick (Joanne) Wloszczynski, Fern, WI., and John (Illene) Zoppetti, Fern, WI.; and four sisters, Sally Fugate, Milwaukee, WI., Rita (Roger) Krans, Florence, WI., Alice Johnson, Florence, WI., and Venisa Leslie, Niagara, WI.
