Kingsford- Roger L. Reiten, 62, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at his home. He was born on August 17, 1954, in Iron Mountain, son of Robert and Marguerite (Peterson) Reiten. Roger graduated from Kingsford High School, Class of 1973. He worked for Lakeshore Incorporated, Kingsford, in the assembly department until its closing. Roger then went to work for Bosk Corporation in Escanaba, Mich., as an industrial painter, retiring in 2012. He enjoyed many hobbies, hunting, cooking, canning, sausage making and antique cars, of which he was in the process of restoring one. Roger is survived by one son, Roger; two daughters, Katie and Lindsie; his mother, Marguerite Reiten, Kingsford; one brother, Robert (Liz) Reiten, Florence, Wis.; one sister, Janice (Al) Zablocki, Kingsford and two nieces, Emily and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Reiten. In accordance with Roger's wishes, private family services were held.
