Iron Mountain-Robert L. Sleik, age 63, of Norway, Mich., passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018, at his home.

He was born July 6, 1954, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of the late Douglas A. and Gloria (Guiliani) Sleik. Robert served in the United States Army and the National Guard. He married Myra Burns and she preceded him in death. Robert later married Charlyn Kyllonen on November 14, 2011 in Iron Mountain. Robert worked at Aspen Lumber in Sagola for over 30 years, as well as a sawmill in Sagola and Butlers Potato Farm. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the Norway Speedway and was an avid Packers fan.

Survivors include his wife, Char; two sons, Robert Sleik Jr., Iron River, Mich. and Colton Sleik, Norway, Mich.; two daughters, Faith Sleik, Norway, Mich., and Cassie DuBois, Iron River, Mich.; three step sons, William, Mathew and Andy Geronomi; three brothers, Dean Sleik Sr., Iron River, Mich., Steven Sleik, Breitung Township, Mich., and Doug (Mary) Sleik, Wis.; one sister, Gerri Kay (Tim) Casey, New Hampshire; and one granddaughter, Lillianna DuBois;

In addition to his parents and first wife, Myra, Robert was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Hansard.
