Kingsford- Robert Earl Lund, 63, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.

Robert was born June 30, 1960, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to the late Wilbur and Betty (Annear) Lund. He graduated from Kingsford High School, class of 1979. On February 29, 1984, he married Kathleen Phillips. Robert worked at Martens Manufacturing for 25 years prior to the plant's closure. He held various jobs in the area until April 2021 when he retired.

Robert was an avid small game and deer hunter. He loved being outdoors, whether it was spending time at camp or in the backyard.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lund; son, Adam (Ashleigh) Lund; daughter, Stephanie (Barlow) Heider; sister, Nancy (Franklin) Nau; grandchildren, Noah Lund, Delilah Lund, Zeke Lund, Izzy Lund, Eva Grace Heider, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces; nephews, along with numerous friends and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Allen Ray Lund.
