Florence, Wisconsin Robert K. Johnson, age 90, of Florence, Wisconsin, passed away, Friday, October 08, 2004, at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan. He was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, on March 29, 1914, the son of the late Rasmus and Patrina (Hansen) Johnson. He attended school and graduated from Tomahawk High School. He worked in the paper mill in Owen, Illinois, for many years. He worked for himself for many years as a logger and enjoyed being in the woods. He was an expert lumberjack and also enjoyed trapping. He was very well respected around the area for his honesty. Survivors include a daughter Sandra (Ed) Whytsell of Spread Eagle, Wisconsin, five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife Murteon, he was preceded in death by three brothers Hans, Steven and Peter Johnson and three sisters Mary, Dagmar, and Lillian. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2004, at Plainfield, Wisconsin.
