Robert D. Barrowman, Jr., 81, of Crystal Falls, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at his home. He was born April 25, 1931, in Joliet, Ill., son of the late Robert and Esther (Chamberlain) Barrowman. Robert married Dolores "Dee" Fatturi. They celebrated their 60th Anniversary in September. Robert served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Iron County Sherriff's Department. Robert was a mechanic for the Local Union 701 Chicagoland, in the heavy equipment industry. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Barrowman, Crystal Falls; one son, Roger (Cindy) Barrowman, Shorewood, Ill.; other relatives and friends. The visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. The funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Norman Clisch will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Joliet.
