Rita McAuliffe, 80, of Iron Mountain, formerly of Chicago, Ill., passed away Monday, March 5, 2012, at her home. She was born March 5, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Mon. Rita is survived by her husband, Dennis McAuliffe, Iron Mountain; two step-sons, Dennis McAuliffe, Iron Mountain, Mark McAuliffe, Lake Geneva, Wis.; two step-daughters, Amy McAuliffe, McHenry, Ill., Laura Wagner, Kingsford; two brothers-in-law, Johnny McAuliffe, Terry McAuliffe; four sisters-in-law, Karen Flannigan, Gayle Wilson, Shelia Madeer, and Maureen Edmond. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Mary Ann. Private family services are being held.
