Richard J. Muchka, 60, of Pembine, Wisconsin, died Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain.
Richard was born on April 23, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of the late Emil and Jean (Passow) Muchka. Richard grew up in Milwaukee and moved to Beecher, Wisconsin in 1986. In 1990 Richard moved to Pembine. He worked for Izzo's as a carpet installer for many years. Richard also worked as a taxidermist mostly during the winter months. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, wood carver, and a true outdoorsman.
Richard is survived by, one brother David (Kathleen) Muchka, Milwaukee, Wis.; one sister, Christine (Randy) Rowe, Beaver Dam, Wis.; two uncles, Paul Muchka, Oconomowoc, Wis., Richard Muchka, Big Ben, Wis.; one aunt Mary Campbell, Portland, Oregon; four nephews, David, Mark, Brian and Robert; one niece, Judy; and many cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 4, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel. The memorial service will be Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Markham will officiate.
