Pembine- Richard L. Little, 91, of Pembine, Wisc., passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, at his home.
He was born October 19, 1934, in Gurnee, Ill., son of the late Marguerite Madson. Richard grew up and attended school in Evanston, Ill. After graduating high school, he attended Monmouth College in Monmouth, Ill. He also served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1957.
Richard was united in marriage to Barbara Kelly on September 27, 1986, in Radnor, Pennsylvania. He worked for CNA Insurance, Mitchell Brothers Real Estate, and later owned and operated Dick Little Remodeling before retiring.
Richard enjoyed being on the lake fishing and spent much of his time remodeling. He particularly enjoyed his children's and grandchildren's visits.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Barbara (nee: Kelly) Little; two daughters, Karen (Hugh Beard) Little, of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Kathy Gardner of Lindenhurst, Illinois; four grandchildren, Brett, Dan, Keely, and Brenner; first wife, Carole Little, of Libertyville, Illinois; brother-in-law, Robert Dean of Racine, Wisconsin; and three nephews, William, Charles and Andrew Dean.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Dean.
In accordance with Richard’s wishes, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
