Richard W. Forgette's Obituary
Richard W. Forgette, 63, of Vulcan, Mich., passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.
He was born September 26, 1958, in Ludington, Mich. Richard grew up in Carney and was a graduate of Carney High School, class of 1976. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. Rick "Killswitch" was a proud member of the REBELS motorcycle club and enjoyed riding motorcycle and spending time in his machine shop.
Survivors include his lady and love, Patty Espey; two sisters, Jo (Lyle) Schoen and Kay Forgette; stepson, Justin Hicks; stepdaughter, Melanie Cowger; embraced daughter, Catrina Vermote and her baby Emma; nieces Katy Schoen and Maggie Schoen; other nieces and nephews; and many brothers and sisters in his M/C family.
In accordance with Richard's wishes, private family services will be held.
