Regina L. Waldbillig, 85, of West Bend, Wis., formerly of Niagara, passed away, Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
She was born on October 1, 1926, in Fredonia, Wis., daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Wiskerchen) Heimerl. Regina grew up in Fredonia where she attended and graduated school. She also attended the Sisters of Notre Dame, Milwaukee, Wis. Regina then moved to South Dakota where she taught Indian children in the area. She married Ted Waldbillig. He preceded her in death in 1976.
Regina lived in Niagara until 1999, at which time, due to her health, she moved into a nursing facility in Madison, Wis., for a year and then to West Bend to Samaritan Health Center, where she resided to be closer to her nephew.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Niagara. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the church. Rev. Matt Settle will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara.
