Raymond A. Steeno, 83, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at the Golden Living Center, Florence, Wis. He was born April 11, 1926, in Niagara Wis., son of the late Rollo and Minnie(Berger) Steeno. Raymond grew up in Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School. He served in the United States Navy after leaving high school. Raymond married Lois Giguere on June 14, 1947, in Niagara. They resided in Niagara and spent their winters in Sun City, Ariz. Raymond worked at the Niagara Mill as an electrician for 42 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church, Niagara, VFW Post No. 136, Niagara, Hiram D. Fisher Masonic Lodge No. 222, Florence, and was a past member of Oak Crest Golf Course, Norway, Mich. Raymond enjoyed many hobbies including, golfing, bowling, going to camp, and especially spending time with his family and friends in Spread Eagle. Raymond is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois; three sons, Danny, Spread Eagle, Wis. Robert (Lisa), Sana Rosa Beach, Fla., Rick (Lynda), Niagara; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Laura Steeno; one brother, Alvin Steeno; two sisters, Clarice Yunowich and Florence Kenville.
