Ralph Malkin, 85, of Crystal Falls, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009, at his home.
He was born October 9, 1923, son of the late Morris and Fanny (Fiegelson) Malkin. He married the former LaVon Rys, she preceded him in death on December 24, 2008.
A well know Crystal Falls businessman, Ralph and his family owned and operated the International Harvester Dealership, a hardware business, and cattle transport company in the area for many years.
Ralph is survived by one son, Gary Malkin, Crystal Falls; two sisters, Eva (the late Joe) Schneiderman, Diana (George) Siegel-Lipshultz; one brother Alec (the late Bernice) Malkin; sister-in-law, Sally Malkin; other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, in-laws, and wife, LaVon, Ralph was preceded in death by one brother, Abraham "Jimmy" Malkin.
The funeral service will be Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Congregation Beth Israel, 6880 N. Green Bay Avenue, Glendale, Wis. Burial will be in Temple Menorah Ever-Rest Cemetery, Milwaukee.
