Obituary

Priscilla J. McEachran age 92, of Iron Mountain, passed away January 14, 2005, at the Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence, WI. She was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, March 18, 1912. She grew up in Ann Arbor where she met her husband Hugh and they married on September 20, 1935. He preceded her in death in 1999. Dr. McEachran finished his medical degree and training in 1940, and the couple moved to Iron Mountain. Dr. McEachran began his medical practice in Iron Mountain and the couple lived here throughout their lives. Priscilla was devoted to her family and loved playing golf, traveling and entertaining. She was a member of the Chippewa Club, the Pine Grove Country Club and the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a son John and his wife Caroline of College Station, Texas, a son Dave and his wife Joan of Bellingham, Washington, a daughter Linda of Charlotte, North Carolina, granddaughter Ruthann Larson of Williamsburg, Virginia, grandchildren Ryan and Robb McEachran of Bellingham, Washington, and Kelly and Ian McEachran of Charlotte, North Carolina, a step grandson Zachary Braswell of College Station, Texas, and great grandchildren Collin McEachran and Callie McEachran of Bellingham, Washington. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents and husband Hugh. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 22, 2005, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Memorial Services will be at 2:00p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Michael March will officiate.
