Phyllis Elaine Olson, 90, Crystal Falls, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born March 7, 1918, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Irving and Edith (Johnson) Olson. Phyllis participated and enjoyed many activities during her stay at the Iron County Medical Care Facility. She will be remembered as one of the most remarkable and kindest people. Phyllis loved to share stories of yesteryear. She loved to sing Beautiful Beautiful Brown Eyes to her great-great niece, Alexis Perez, with whom she shared a special bond. Survivors include two nieces, Pat (Don) Feiner, Crystal Lake, Ill., Jean (Dick) Bogdala, Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; many great-nieces, nephews and great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Anna Johnson Olson, two sisters, Evelyn Olson, Marian Johnson Kuure, and one brother, Floyd Olson.
