Phyllis A. Jensen, 77, of Iron Mountain, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain. She was born August 21, 1930, in Kingsford, Mich., daughter of the late Chester and Marie (Hart) Paige. Phyllis married Walter Jensen January 28, 1949, at American Martyrs Catholic Church, Kingsford. Phyllis was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church and Dickinson County Pilot's Association. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cooking for her family, football, and knitting. Besides her husband, Walter, she is survived by three sons, Fred Jensen, Powers, Mich., Ted Jensen, Iron Mountain, Mike (Cleora) Jensen, Baraga, Mich.; one sister, Jacqueline (Curt) Johnson, Arden Hills, Minn; nine grandchildren, Lisa Garcia, Fred (Andrea) Jensen, Tom (Davi) Jensen, Anjanette (Alfred) Kettil, Corrina (Shawn) Willis, Margarita Jensen, Bradley Jensen, George (Crystal) Morseau, Angel Morseau; twelve great-grandchildren; very special friends, Maria Monosso, Della LeMay, Joyce and Mike Thompson. Visitation will be Monday, October 1, 2007, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Prayers will be offered 10:30 am Monday, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday, at American Martyrs Catholic Church. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate.
