Penny S. Zeigler, 60, of Pembine, Wis., passed away Monday, February 7, 2011, at her home.
She was born on August 13, 1950, daughter of the late Orville and Viola (Wilcott) Hammond. Penny married Lyle Zeigler on February 19, 1967, in North Platte, Nebr. After being married, they resided in Nebraska until 1969 when they moved to Houston, Tex. They resided in Houston until 1985, at which time, they made Pembine their home.
Penny was a member of the Crossroads Church, Pembine. She enjoyed many hobbies including crafting, knitting, sewing, quilting, and making things for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Lyle; one son, Wesley Wayne Zeigler, Pembine; one daughter, Monica Leigh (Bob) Wesolowski, Sellersburg, Ind.; two brothers, Ted (Kim) Hammond, John (Candy) Hammond; three sisters, Dixie Hammond, Cordel (Joe), Linda (Louis) Nutt; three grandchildren, Quinton, Cullen, and Elizabeth; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2011, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Crossroads Church, Pembine. The funeral service will be Saturday, 2:00 pm. at the church. Rev. Dave Paulson will officiate.
