Pearl Fitzgerald, 94, of Kingsford, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Manorcare Health Services, Kingsford.
She was born April 12, 1919, in Manistique, Mich., daughter of the late William and Ollia (Burton) Barker. Pearl married Eugene Fitzgerald, October 1, 1954. They resided in Newberry, Mich., for a few years before moving to Kingsford in 1959. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Hall, Kingsford.
She is survived by two sons, Samuel "Herb" (Margaret) Lennox, Germfask, Mich., George (Lynn) Fitzgerald, Escanaba, Mich.; two daughters, Alva Fox, Kingsford , Donna Applin (Kevin Thiede), Iron Mountain, Mich.; grandchildren, Jim (Vicki) Fox,Yazoocity, Miss., Joan Fox, Iron Mountain, Sheri Fox, Kingsford, Tammy Newingham, Kingsford, Margie Fox, Kingsford, Herb Fox, Kingsford, Susan (James) Quick, Olathe, Kans., Samuel Lennox, Germfask, Mich., Kirsten Applin, Iron Mountain, April (Edward) Turner, Iron Mountain; great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, two great-great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Eugene she was preceded in death by one daughter Marjory Lee and two sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain.
The funeral service will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Elder David Carpenter will officiate. Burial will be in Dickinson County Memorial Gardens. A memorial will be established in her memory.
