Crystal Falls:
Pauline Preische, age 89, of Crystal Falls, Michigan, passed away May 28, 2005, at the Crystal Manor Nursing Home in Crystal Falls, Michigan.
She was born May 3, 1916, in Dollar Bay, Michigan, the daughter of the late Frank and Amanda (Norgard) Stoor. She attended school in Crystal Falls and graduated High School in 1934. She attended Northern Michigan Teachers College. On July 19, 1940, she married Kurt Preische in Chicago. He preceded her in death in 1990. She lived in Chicago fifty years and was employed as a bookkeeper for a Real Estate Company and at Cummins- Chicago Company. She moved back to Crystal Falls in 1975. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church, and was the church organist. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary, TOPS, Eastern Star, and also was an organist for other churches in the community.
Survivors include, several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband Kurt, she was preceded in death by 7 brothers, Conrad, Frank, Lud, Gustave, Woodrow, Roger, and David, and one sister Melvina Isaacson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2005, from 4:00-5:00p.m. at the United Lutheran Church in Crystal Falls. The Order of Eastern Star service will be at 4:45p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00P.M.
