Crystal Falls:
Pauline Nancy Lehto, age 83, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at the Iron River Care Center in Iron River, Michigan.
Pauline was born in Strongsville, Ohio, on October 20, 1920, the daughter of the late
John and Mary Cerney. She was raised in Strongville and attended high school there. In 1942, she married Toby "Toivo" Lehto in Cleveland, Ohio. Her hobbies were her farm and pets.
Survivors include two sons Paul Lehto of Iron River, and Randy (Rhonda) Lehto of Medina, Ohio, one sister Beatrice Wellman of Brunswick, Ohio, one grandchild Michael and one great grandchild Tristan, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Toivo, Pauline was preceded in death by five brothers Charles, John, Daniel, Sam and Paul Cerney, two sisters Helen and Lillian Lehto, and one grandson Sam.
Visitation will be Friday, October 8, 2004 from 6-7p.m.at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be 7: 00p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Kim Beckman will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Northwoods Animal Shelter, 1501 West Mineral Avenue, Iron River, MI 49935.
