Kingsford- Paul W. Goodreau, 101, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, Iron Mountain, Mich.

Paul was born January 30, 1924, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of the late Albert and Irene Goodreau. After graduating from Kingsford High School in 1943, he served in the Army Air Forces for 3 years during WWII. Following his honorable discharge from the service, Paul attended St. Norbert College, where he received his BAS in education and also played football. Football and golf were Paul's passions.

Paul taught at Kingsford Junior High School for his entire 32-year career. He also built many homes in the area during the summer months.

In 1949, he married Vivian Ekberg; they celebrated 75 years together before Vivian passed away in 2024. They leave behind two sons, Michael (Patti) and Stephen (Pam) Goodreau; five grandchildren, Chris, Ryan, Benjamin, Andrew, and Megan; and 12 great-grandchildren.
