Obituary

Patricia Patzer (nee Benedict), born in White Lake, Wis. February 28, 1924, and raised in Kingsford, Mich., died peacefully at the age of 85 yrs on Friday, August 28th, 2009, at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home in Niagara, Wis. She was a long time employee of First Wisconsin Bank in Milwaukee while residing and raising her family in West Allis, Wis. Patricia spent her long retirement years living near family members in Iron Mountain, Mich. and Niagara. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfred; her dear sister, Elizabeth Lillvick; and her dear brother, Samuel Benedict. She is survived by daughter, Diana Wheeler (friend, Ben Shinos); son, Lee Patzer (Holly); grandchildren, Brenda Wheeler (friend, Darren Ryan), Jason Wheeler (Susan), Kendra McGirr (friend, Erik Singer), Miles Patzer; great-grandchildren Tyler and Chamara Hamilton, and Cameo and Tiberius Wheeler. To all those family members already mentioned and to all her dearest friends, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and to all of their family members, Patricia says: "I have loved you all". Special thanks to Dickinson County Hospital staff and the deepest appreciation to the exceptionally skilled and caring staff of Maryhill Manor Nursing Home. We remember Patricia for her love of cats, country music and the delicious meals she cooked for family gatherings. But she will always be remembered best for her unconditional love and constant care of family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2009, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Chad Ott will officiate. Burial will be in Breitung Township Cemetery, Quinnesec.
