Patricia M. Grell, 88, of Florence, Wis., passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich. Pat was born on June 9, 1921, in Tipler, Wis., daughter of the late George and Winifred (Lewis) Richards. She was raised in Tipler and graduated from Florence High School. Pat married Albert Grell on June 30, 1941, in Florence. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2007. After retirement, Pat and Albert worked as caretakers for many local residents in Spread Eagle and the surrounding area. Pat loved painting and was a great artist, she enjoyed deer hunting well into her early 80's, ceramics, gardening, reading, and crossword puzzles. She is survived by three sons, Robert (LeAnna) Grell, Sun City West, Ariz., Richard (Marie) Grell, Florence, Michael (Lauri LeSabre) Grell, Montesano, Wash.; eleven grandchildren, Lori (Troy) Hall, Terri Grell, Robert (Mary) Grell, Anthony (Maureen) Grell, Steve (Stephanie) Grell, Travis (Jennifer) Grell, Timothy (Shannon) Grell, Michael Grell, Frank (Amy) Renzoni, Mark (Tina) Renzoni,and Torrin (Nicole) Miller; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Pat was preceded by four brothers, Dean, Arthur, Robert and David Richards; two sisters, Caryl Parker and Blanche Weber.
