Patricia Dorothy Demko, age 77, of Florence, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, October 30, 2006, at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain. She was born March 15, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Michael and Charlotte (Schraub) Mondry. She married Stanley Demko, November 5, 1949, in Chicago. He preceded her in death in 1981. Patricia was raised in Chicago and graduated from Resurrection High School in Chicago in 1947. She and her husband Stanley lived in Chicago until 1962, when they moved to Mundelein, Ill, and they resided there until 1976, when they retired to Florence County. Patricia was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Some of the things she enjoyed were animals, gardening, music and crocheting. Survivors include one son, Mike (Carol) Demko, Florence; one daughter Candy (Jerry) Becker, Sparta, Wis.; six grandchildren, Chrissy (Tim) Falton, West Bend, Wis., Nicholas Demko, Florence, Jeff (Jenny) Becker, Egan, Minn., Jenny (Jeff) Dzurick, Wausau, Wis., Brian (Erin Burke) Becker, Sparta, Wis., Eric Becker, Sparta, Wis.; and one sister Constance Maranto, Washington Island, Wis. One great grandchild, Morgan Carol Becker. Visitation will be Saturday, November 4, 2006, from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek, Wis. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Fr. Dave Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Goodman, Wis.
